Tax Day Tea Party - Morehead City, NC
Morehead City, NC - Tomorrow, 15 April, is Tax Day thoughout America. Tomorrow is also a major nationwide protest. In the Kmart parking lot in Morehead City, NC from 4-6pm hundreds of angered tax payers are planning on protesting the use of their tax money.
For the first time I will be able to shoot a protest. My long awaited desire to photographically document a protest has finally arrived. Please stay tuned on this blog for photos of the event.

Functional

4out of 5
Pros: Strong Construction, Lightweight, Reliable, Convenient Interface
Cons: Only 20Gbs
Best Uses: Image Storage, Digital Photography, Image Transportation
Describe Yourself: Hobbyist/Enthusiast
The only con to this is that the HDD is only 20 Gbs. It would be great if it was larger. Oh well.
One tip, at least with Windows Vista; It probably won't install on the first attempt. Try it again, it will work the second time. Don't know why but each first time I connected it to my two Vista machines that's what I had to do.

Back from San Diego
Well I have returned from San Diego. I'm tired, no worst for wear, and packing a ton of new photographs. I've created several new sets on flicker for each of the places I took images at. Please visit www.flickr.com/photos/steve-orcutt.

Looking for a project
I'm sure you've seen the photo sets where people take an object like a ball, action figure, or something that take photographs with that in the scene some way. Well, I'm curious to do some of those. I'm interested in some suggestions! Going to San Diego in a couple days for about 9 days, and I think it would be fun to include in some of the tons of pictures I plan to take to also to some item shots. Give me some ideas!

Finally home...
MCAS Cherry Point, Havelock, North Carolina - Finally we have returned. It seemed like it took forever to get back, but here we are. Safe, sound, and happy to be back on US soil. At times the journey home seemed to be arduous but it finally culminated in us landing at MCAS Cherry Point. There was no grandiose cheer or anything of the sort buy the returning warriors, but rather a sighing breath of relief. Everyone was glad to be back.
