CAMP FALLUJAH, IRAQ - Believe it or not, but it snowed here in Camp Fallujah, Iraq! People who are familiar with snow, said it was actually sleet - but hey, when your from San Diego it's snow to you.

So I entered a contest, well not really a contest but a challenge to have a picture published in a magazine that I found, JPG Magazine. I have entered two photographs, both from the night range a couple weeks ago. I would be greatly appreciative of anyone who would go to the site and vote for each of the two photos. Here are the links:

Well it's the new year, and we have much less than 30 days remaining here in Camp Fallujah. Then, time to take pictures back in the good 'ol USA! Yeah!
Here in Camp Fallujah we celebrated the new year when the artillery fired off a few illumination (illum) rounds and a controlled blast. Don't know if arty fired intentionally or just a coincidence - we all think it was planned; but the controlled blast was planned, or so we were told.
We also had a promotion, Sgt Brogdon is now SSgt Brogdon. He was happy, very long awaited, and deserved.
See ya'll soon!
